PASS DC

There are so many user groups now that it is hard to allocate your support funding. You have high standards and limited time, so how do you decide?

Over the last four years, PASSDC has grown to over 450 members that have an expressed interest in SQL Server focused technologies and professional development. We have worked to create a community --more than just a user group meeting.

Our typical meeting follows: Starting around 6:30 pm members arrive for a catered dinner. We shy away from pizza; we know our members make a commitment to come and build community, and we want to reward them for that commitment each month with a fresh, hot meal (Including allergen-free and vegetarian options). Following dinner, we move into the learning session for the night. PASSDC features both new, local speakers as well as industry leaders for a well-rounded learning experience for our members. While we conclude the session with final announcements, sponsorship acknowledgement, and a raffle, the evening is not over yet: we often visit a local bar for those that wish to spend more time networking and extending discussions of the night’s topic.

Sound enticing? Want to help make this happen?

Great! We have a couple of options:

  1. Join us for a meeting and see for yourself the community we are building.
  2. Support our group financially and become an integral part of the experience.
Here are our current support sizes for a year’s meetings. (Since we deal in data, we figured sizes are an excellent choice for support level names)
