SQL Server 2016: What's New?

George Carlisle

SQL Server 2016 will launch with three major goals: 1. Providing Mission Critical Performance to the next generation of applications; 2. Granting Deeper Insight into data and metadata; 3. Giving flexibility in deploying to traditional servers, the Cloud, or some model in between. In this session, George Carlisle will share new features and major improvements in the SQL 2016 product with a main focus on the Database Engine. Learn how each of these upgrades fit into Microsoft' three-tiered plan, and gain insight into how these changes could affect the way your databases are build, deployed, and perform.
